Au Pair’s Nightmare: Horrible Host Families – How to avoid problematic host families？

We are now updating several posts on social media to let the Au Pairs talk more about their experience with the “problematic host families” they had dealt with. so far, we have collected the following list of “problems”:

no sense or respect for the Au Pair time schedule (endless working hours)
off-day issue
treat Au Pair as a nanny or maid
deduction on pocket money
no respect of the Au Pair-family contract
